Overview

professional-headshot.ai collects only the information needed to process images, create AI professional headshots, provide AI-assisted watermark removal, process payments, prevent abuse, and operate the website.

Information You Provide

• Uploaded images: image files and associated information such as file name, size, type, and processing instructions.
• Image processing content: automatically analyzed photo features, requested portrait styles, generated headshots and edits, identified watermark-covered areas, repair candidates, review choices, and processed results created during the requested workflow.
• Account information: name, email address, avatar, authentication provider, and settings when you sign in.
• Payment information: checkout, order, and subscription metadata from payment processors. We do not store full payment card numbers.
• Support and newsletter information: email address, messages, and subscription preferences.

Information Collected Automatically

• IP address, user agent, approximate location, and logs.
• Device, browser, page view, referral, and usage data.
• Abuse-prevention signals for uploads and processing, including anonymous visitor context and rate-limit events.
• For anonymous watermark trials, a one-way browser fingerprint hash used to limit repeated free processing.
• Cookies needed for authentication, security, preferences, analytics, and payment flows.

How We Use Information

• Create professional portraits and requested edits from uploaded photos and preferences.
• Analyze uploads and automatically identify or repair watermark-covered areas.
• Provide previews, processed results, and downloads.
• Manage accounts, credits, purchases, and support requests.
• Prevent fraud, spam, abuse, and unauthorized access.
• Improve reliability, performance, and user experience.
• Send product updates or newsletter emails only where permitted by your preferences and applicable law.

Service Providers

We may use providers for hosting, database storage, authentication, payments, email, analytics, abuse prevention, file storage, and AI model access. Information may be shared with these providers to process uploads and deliver the requested results.

Depending on configuration, providers may include payment processors such as Stripe, PayPal, or Creem; email providers such as Resend; storage providers such as Cloudflare R2; and AI providers selected for image analysis, portrait generation, and image editing.

Data Retention

For professional headshots, free results are available for up to 30 days from task creation. Access to Pro and Ultimate results ends 30 days after the package generation period expires. Download the images you want to keep before access expires. These access limits do not specify when stored source photos or generated files are deleted. You can request deletion of personal information through our support contact.

For watermark-removal jobs, uploaded source images, intermediate candidates, output images, and expired job access are scheduled for deletion after 24 hours.

Limited account, order, credit, and processing records may be retained while your account is active or as needed for security, support, accounting, and legal obligations.

Anonymous watermark-trial abuse-prevention records may be retained for up to 90 days for security and service reliability.

Your Choices

You may request access, correction, export, or deletion of personal information where applicable. Some records may need to be retained for fraud prevention, accounting, or legal compliance.
